Orchid Gardens, Round Two

The weather here has been much cooler than normal; almost pleasant enough to walk around without sweating. Anyway, not wanting to waste the wonderful weather, I found my way to the National Orchid Gardens.

Here's what I saw:

I'm always amazed at the variation found among orchids. They are such versatile flowers.

Totally worth $5 on a Saturday morning.

There were also non-orchids available for my viewing pleasure.
Holy Pink Pineapple, Batman!

As I was leaving, I noticed this Black Lily. It was kind of weird. I'm pretty sure I've never seen a black flower before.
Oh, and there were spiders in the leaves.
The darn thing was probably as big as my hand. I'm glad I don't have to wander around the jungle.
